Intermediates

The Ziller valley is an intermediate's paradise with over 350km of piste. The Penken, Mayrhofen’s intermediate mountain, offers red runs galore and is served by one of the most modern gondolas in Austria. The lift pass also covers the blue 'motorways' of Kaltenbach and the scenic tree lined reds of Zell am Ziller, not to mention the peaceful less-discovered areas of Lanersbach and Gerlos
Advanced

There are tricky routes down the Penken Mountains to Schwendau and through the trees from the Ahorn. The Horberg ski area also offers a number of exciting long runs like the challenging Schafskopf mogul run.
Snowboarding

Mayrhofen has become more and more famous over the last few years with its hugely publicised SPC boardpark. It has featured in just about every magazine and video, including Onboard and Snowboard UK.
