Hopfgarten

This well-liked resort offers a time-honoured Austrian welcome and receives many British tourists due to its relatively unspoiled and picturesque setting. The village has a traditional Tyrolean ambience and offers a modest yet enjoyable après ski scene with The Silver Bullet providing animated entertainment ranging from live music to karaoke! Neighbouring Söll is better known for its animated nightlife and is easy to get to if you want to explore farther than Hopfgarten’s bars and restaurants. The resort is ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders of all disciplines, with varied terrain and runs for the former, and a snowpark with half/quarter pipe and off piste for the latter. English-speaking instructors will help beginners to gain confidence on the softly sloping pistes, and advanced skiers will be in their element both off piste and gliding down the red and black runs. Hopfgarten also has a quick gondola ride to the Ski Welt which has over 250 Km’s of pistes, ensuring there is something for everyone.
