Norway has a snow record that is the envy of the rest of Europe. Couple this with some of the most stunningly beautiful resorts and you have an ideal Winter holiday destination. Resort facilities and equipment hire are nothing short of excellent, and there is tuition with friendly, English speaking instructors for adults and children of all ages. A superb destination for families, there are creches in most resorts and young children (normally under 7's) receive free lift passes and ski in dedicated areas. There are numerous fun activities off the slopes as well, to keep the whole family entertained. There's the husky-sledging, sleigh rides, snowshoeing, ice skating or ice fishing, to name but a few.
