Salla Ski Resort

Home to over 10,000 reindeer, the Salla region is an unblemished wilderness of frozen rivers, lakes and fells close to the Russian border, the ski resort of Salla is the perfect place to experience this unspoilt fragment of northern nature. The ski hill and accommodation are close to one another and there is a good variety of slopes to ski on and plenty of cross-country trails. The views are astounding and there is a great choice of winter activities for all the family. Beginners and intermediates will find Salla irresistible due to the perfect snowy woods and blue runs which are purely for enjoyment and pleasure. Advanced skiers will find their thrills on the black slopes and be challenged by the cross-country network. There are cosy pubs with open fires to thaw out in front of, and evening dining can be Lappish delicacies amongst other culinary delights at Reventuli and Sallatunturin Tuvat.
